What to expect from your windshield replacement
A new windshield is more than swapping glass. Your windshield supports the roof and backs up the passenger airbag, so the way we install it matters. That’s why we follow the vehicle maker’s specs on every job.
Our replacement process
- First, we match the glass to your VIN, so it fits your car and its sensors.
- Next, we remove the old glass and prepare the frame.
- Then we set the new windshield in fresh urethane adhesive.
- After that, we tell you the safe drive-away time.
- Finally, if your car has a windshield camera, we handle ADAS calibration.
OEM or aftermarket glass
Every windshield we install meets Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard 205. Still, OEM and aftermarket glass can differ, so read OEM vs aftermarket windshields before you choose.
In addition, most insurance policies with comprehensive coverage pay for a new windshield after your deductible. Learn more about how insurance covers glass and what changes the price, or get a free quote.
